Sci-Fi Desk Lamp

The Sci-Fi lamp was going to have another name. I just can't remember that movie that was made in the 50's with those snakey space invaders that shot lazers. Do you remember that movie? Anyways, in the movie there is this annoying sound they make that just plays out through the whole movie and drove me mad when I was a kid. I think Tom Cruise was in a remake of it. Whatever--this light reminds me of that.
